It appears reports yesterday stating that top independent wrestling standout and Ring of Honor wrestler El Generico had signed with WWE was premature. It is now being reported that Generico is currently undergoing physical testing with WWE and barring any issues will officially sign with the company. He had previously pulled himself from the PWG DDT 4 tournament in Los Angeles this weekend, but that appearance is now back on. Generico is also booked for the upcoming debut Hart Legacy events in Calgary.
