According to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, there have been two new hires in WWE recently for their announcing team.
The first is Tom Hannifan, a former announcer for the Big Ten Sports Network. Hannifan was at the last NXT Full Sail tapings in his first work with the company. It is said that Hannifan is both “bright and green.”
The other is Renee Paquette from the Score Network in Canada. Paquette was the host of the Raw post-show entitled “Aftermath” and was labeled as one of Canada’s “sexiest sportscasters.”
Paquette is said to be going up to the WWE studios once a week for studio work as well as work PPVs in some fashion. It has been talked about Paquette becoming a backstage interviewer down the line.
