As reported on earlier this week, Championship Wrestling from Hollywood has left the NWA and they are not alone. The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that the Pro Wrestling Revolution promotion ran by Gabriel Ramirez has also decided to leave the NWA. Bruce Tharpe is now President of the NWA and formed a new corporation that now has control of the name and intellectual property. Bob Trobich recently resigned from his role as President and played a big part in keeping the NWA name alive when WCW pulled away from it. Bill Behrens, known for his publicity role with NWA, has also pulled out of the new version.
