KOT 2012 weekend is almost here!
This Friday, the biggest tournament in all of professional wrestling arrives, and Easton, PA will never be the same! The Palmer Center on Green Pond Road plays host to 3 straight days of the most-anticipated, most-beloved, most fun event on our calendar! The Night 1 card is below:
They are three of the most dangerous men in the world. And they are taking on three of the most despicable men in the world. The brash, cocky trio representing Ring of Honor will have all they can handle on September 14th when they slide into the ring against The Faces of Pain!
Three all-time faves from the World Wrestling Federation will team up to tackle three men that represent the very best of Extreme Championship Wrestling on Night 1 of King of Trios! And with the incomparable Jerry Lynn on his retirement tour, will this mark his very last meeting with the former “Lightning Kid?”
CHIKARA’s Director of Fun, Wink Vavasseur, raised some eyebrows by entering The Submission Squad into King of Trios 2012 as the tournament’s first ever “Quatro.” The Submission Squad faces a monumental challenge in the first-round against the devious UltraMantis Black, Frightmare, and Hallowicked (The Spectral Envoy)!
Japan’s most sensational athletes, from the JWP organization, are set to lock up with the multiple-sport athletes known as The Throwbacks! Can the newly-crowned Young Lions Cup champion, the brash Mark Angelosetti, lead his trio past the threesome of joshi superstars?
Chuck Taylor, Johnny Gargano, and Icarus (F.I.S.T.) match up against Kikutaro, Ebessan, and Takoyakida (Team Osaka Pro) but only one can advance to the quarter-finals!
Wink Vavasseur’s realigned version of “The Colony” are set to face off against a dynamic trio of joshi stars as the Sendai Girls look to stake their claim at immortality!
Mike Quackenbush, Jigsaw and Manami Toyota will compete against combatANT, deviANT and Soldier Ant (The Swarm) at King of Trios! Tension will be high when Quackenbush and Jigsaw meet two of their hated rivals during the biggest tournament of the year. Will Quack, the patriarch of CHIKARA, lose his cool once again at the expense of GEKIDO?
The unlikely trio of 3.0 and Gran Akuma will have their work cut out for them against the spooky threesome of The Batiri, who have been looking unstoppable of late in trios action! They collide on Night 1!
