Independent wrestlers Scorpio Sky and Shaun Ricker were both scheduled for the “invitation only” WWE tryout camp running from 8/20 to 8/22 and did not attend according to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter. Reports had surfaced that Sky was offered a deal from TNA, but it was later revealed that was not the case due to his pending tryout with WWE.
