AEW taped matches on Saturday at Daily’s Place in Jacksonville, Florida for future episodes of Ring of Honor television.
Below are the spoilers and what took place before the taping began.
Before the taping began, Tony Khan comes out and brought out Big Boom! AJ and Big Justice. They started talking about how it’s their first time here to AEW in Jacksonville. MXM collection then came out. Mason Madden mentions how he has a prior career to wrestling, playing football for the Houston Texans and now that Jacksonville is their house. This brought out Swerve Strickland .MXM collection (who still had Sammy Guevara’s ROH world tag team title belt with them) begged Tony to help them before they left the ringside area. Swerve, Tony, AJ, and Big Justice gave everybody at Daily’s Place five Big Booms and lead the crowd with a chant of Duvall. Tony thanked the fans for being here, mentioning how three years ago here in Jacksonville, he announced he had purchased Ring of Honor and that there will be more action from Ring of Honor wrestling featuring Athena and The Out Runners.
-ROH Women’s Championship Proving Ground Match: ROH Women’s World Champion Athena defeated Carolina Cruz
-Blake Christian defeated Adam Priest.
-ROH Women’s TV Championship Match: Red Velvet retained over Robyn Renegade. It looked as if Renegade got knocked loopy at the end of the match.
-Four Way Tag Team Match: The Out Runners defeated Grizzled Young Vets, Dark Order’s Evil Uno and Alex Reynolds, and The Premier Athletes’ Aryi Davari and Tony Nese
-Griff Garrison and Preston Vance defeated Eli Theseus and Gabriel Aeros
-Lee Johnson defeated Jon Davis
-ROH Tag Team Champion Sammy Guevara defeated Mansoor by submission. After the match, Mason and Mansoor doubled team Guevara and posed over him with his ROH Tag Title Belt.
