Corey Graves has recently deleted the two tweets containing comments about his frustration with WWE and being sent to the NXT announce team.
As reported on Tuesday, Graves was seen leaving Orlando after teasing on X that he had something to say on NXT that night.
On Monday evening, Graves wrote on X that he lost his dream job as a professional wrestler and then having to build up his reputation as a commentator. He went on to make reference to Pat McAfee, saying he was not able to keep his position due to not being famous enough.
It had first been assumed and still is, that Graves is doing some kind of work that will lead up to a match between he and McAfee at WrestleMania, as Graves is cleared to wrestle.
Reports from Fightful Select, PWInsider and F4WOnline on Tuesday all noted that Graves’ comments on X were legitimate and publicly aired his frustrations he voiced privately with WWE after working alongside Booker T and Vic Joseph on last week’s NXT New Year’s Evil.
PWInsider reported on Wednesday evening that no announcement has been made internally regarding Graves’ status other than that he would not be appearing on this week’s episode as part of the announce team.
We will continue to provide any further details as it becomes available.
