PWInsider Elite has reported that Jade Cargill has been working throughout the week at the Performance Center ahead of her return to in-ring action.
The Women’s Tag Team Champion was last seen on television in November, laid out following an attack backstage before Survivor Series, with Naomi later taking her place in a title defense on the December 13, 2024 edition of SmackDown.
The timetable for her return is unknown as of this writing.
A separate report from PWInsider Elite has noted that WWE is in discussions to bring back former Royal Rumble winners for special cameo appearances at this year’s premium live event.
Among the names of legends set for potential non-wrestling appearances are WWE Hall of Famers Ric Flair, who won the 1992 Royal Rumble match to claim his first WWE (then-WWF) Championship, and “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan, the Royal Rumble winner from the inaugural televised edition in 1989.
WWE Royal Rumble 2025 takes place Saturday, February 1 from Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana.
