Hello everyone, and welcome to this week’s WWE Superstars recap.
If you all are ready, then since Adelitas Way is playing the intro, let’s get on with the show!
WWE Tag Team Champion Kofi Kingston vs. Michael McGillicutty
Lock-up and McGillicutty backs Kingston into the corner. McGillicutty breaks, then both guys trade smiles to one another. Kingston with a waistlock, but McGillicutty counters out into a side headlock. Irish whip by Kingston, but McGillicutty with a shoulder tackle. McGillicutty goes off the ropes, Kingston then with a pair of leapfrogs, followed by catching McGillicutty coming in with a leaping back elbow for a 1 count. Kingston with a wristlock, but McGillicutty grabs at Kingston’s hair to force him to the ropes.
McGillicutty with a knee to the gut, followed by a kick to the gut and finally a right hand. McGillicutty with a pair of stomps in the corner, followed by choking Kingston with his boot. McGillicutty with another kick to the gut, followed by a snap suplex for a 1 count. McGillicutty with another kick to the gut, then paintbrushes the back of Kingston’s head while talking trash. Irish whip by McGillicutty, but Kingston bounces off the ropes and catches McGillicutty with a rana.
Kingston then with a clothesline that sends McGillicutty over the ropes to the outside, with McGillicutty’s face bouncing off the apron on the way down. Kingston goes for a slingshot, but McGillicutty moves out of the way, however Kingston lands on the apron on his feet. McGillicutty tries to go after him, but Kingston leaps over him. Kingston then nails McGillicutty with a crossbody off the apron. Kingston is all fired up as he sends McGillicutty back into the ring. Kingston goes on the apron, but McGillicutty nails him coming back into the ring with a boot to the side of the head.
McGillicutty then with a neckbreaker while Kingston was caught up in the ropes. Kingston is clutching his neck & head in pain as we go to commercial.
Commercial
Back from commercial as McGillicutty has Kingston in a chinlock. Kingston breaks free, then goes off the ropes, but McGillicutty catches him coming in with a high back body drop. Irish whip by McGillicutty and he catches Kingston coming in with another high back body drop. McGillicutty with a side backbreaker for a nearfall. McGillicutty with a pair of knees between the shoulder blades of Kingston before locking in a chinlock. Kingston breaks free, then goes off the ropes and slides under McGillicutty’s legs, but then McGillicutty picks Kingston and drives him back first into the corner, placing Kingston in the Tree of Woe. McGillicutty with a series of clubs to the chest of Kingston, then goes to the outside and pulls at Kingston’s head & neck while Kingston is still trapped in the Tree of Woe. Back in the ring, McGillicutty with a stomp that knocks Kingston out of the Tree of Woe. McGillicutty gains a nearfall, then rubs Kingston’s face into the mat. McGillicutty goes back out to the outside and nails Kingston with a club to the chest. McGillicutty talks trash to the crowd, but takes too much time as Kingston comes back with a kick that sends McGillicutty into the barricade.
Kingston sends McGillicutty back into the ring and when McGillicutty tries for another hanging neckbreaker, Kingston counters with a back suplex and both men are down. Both men get to their feet as Kingston hits a pair of double chops, followed by a dropkick. Kingston goes off the ropes and hits the Superman clothesline. Kingston is all fired up as he goes off the ropes for the Boom Drop, but McGillicutty tries to crawl away. Kingston pulls him back in, but McGillicutty kicks him off, sending Kingston to the apron. McGillicutty charges, but Kingston catches him coming in with a shoulder to the ribs. Kingston then with a springboard Froggy crossbody for a close nearfall. Kingston with a kick to the chest, then goes off the ropes and this time hits the Boom Drop. Kingston setups for Trouble in Paradise, but McGillicutty sees it coming and moves away before Kingston can kick him. Kingston charges, but McGillicutty catches him coming in with a back elbow. McGillicutty charges, but when Kingston tries to catch him coming with the SOS, McGillicutty counters out and sends Kingston into the corner. McGillicutty charges, but runs into the boots of Kingston. Kingston goes up to the middle ropes and leaps off, but McGillicutty nails Kingston in mid-air with a dropkick for a close nearfall. McGillicutty charges, but Kingston ducks under him. Kingston tries for Trouble in Paradise to catch McGillicutty coming in, but McGillicutty ducks under that.
McGillicutty then misses a clothesline and this time Kingston nails him with Trouble in Paradise for the victory.

A.W. comes out and introduces his new clients, the Primetime Players as we go to our next match.
“Mr. No Days Off” Darren Young w/Titus O’Neil & A.W. vs. Epico w/Primo & Rosa Mendes
Lock-up and Epico with a chop. Young comes back with a kick to the gut, followed by a right hand. Epico comes back with a back kick, followed by a headlock punch. Epico with a chop, followed by sending Young headfirst off the top turnbuckle. Epico with a right hand, but Young comes back with a kick to the gut. Young with a right hand, then goes for a back suplex, but Epico lands on his feet. Epico catches Young with a rana that sends Young to the outside. On the apron, Epico rains in right hands on Young, then has words with the referee and that allows Young to drill Epico with a back suplex on the apron.
Back in the ring, Young gains a series of nearfalls, then hits another back suplex for yet another nearfall. Young paintbrushes Epico multiple times across the back of the head, then locks in a chinlock with his knee driven into the small of Epico’s back. Epico tries to break free, but Young re-applies the hold. Epico tries to break free again, but Young nails him with a knee to the gut. Young goes for another back suplex, but Epico spins in mid-air to fall on top of Young for a nearfall. Epico charges, but Young catches him with a snap slam for another nearfall. Young locks in a body scissors, but Epico fights out with back elbows.
Epico with a jawbreaker, followed by a series of right hands, but Young comes back with a kick to the gut. Irish whip by Young, reversed by Epico, who catches Young coming in with a dropkick. Epico with a pair of clotheslines, then goes for a suplex, but Young counters out. Young then misses a clothesline and Epico hits the reverse Three Amigos for a nearfall as A.W. hops up on the apron. Then, while the referee is with Primo & Rosa, O’Neil comes in and hotshots Epico across the top rope.
Young then hits the Gutcheck for the victory.

The Usos (Jimmy & Jey) vs. Hunico & Camacho
Hunico & Jimmy start things off for their respective teams. Hunico with an armdrag as he taunts the crowd. Jimmy comes back with a chop, followed by an Irish whip. However, Hunico reverses it, but Jimmy puts on the brakes. Hunico charges, but Jimmy catches him with a double chop. Headfirst goes Hunico off the top turnbuckle as Jey tags in. The Usos with a double Irish whip, a double back elbow & finally a double elbow drop for a 1 count. Hunico comes back with a kick to the gut, then sends Jey headfirst off the top turnbuckle. Tag into Camacho, who nails Jey with a right hand. Irish whip by Camacho, but Jey holds onto the ropes and nails Camacho with a throat thrust. Camacho misses a clothesline and goes off the ropes as Jey nails him with the corkscrew elbow. Jey with a “Uso” chant, then goes after Hunico on the apron, but that distraction allows Camacho to nail Jey with a spinebuster.
Camacho with a stomp, then tags in Hunico, as Camacho hits a slam, followed by Hunico hitting a slingshot senton from the apron into the ring for a nearfall. Hunico chokes Jey in the ropes, then sends Jey through the ropes to the outside. Then, when the referee is with Hunico, Camacho nails Jey with a clothesline on the outside. Hunico nails Jey with a double sledge off the apron, followed by a chop. Jey comes back with a chop of his own, but Hunico with a knee to the gut. Back in the ring, Hunico gains a nearfall, then locks in a front chancery as Jimmy tries to will on his brother. Tag into Camacho, who nails Jey with a stomp. Camacho with a back suplex, followed by a leaping leg drop for a nearfall. Tag into Hunico, who hits a slingshot double stomp, followed by locking in a chinlock. Jey tries to break free, but Hunico nails him with a knee to the gut. Hunico gets distracted by Jimmy and that allows Jey to hit a back body drop.
Tag into Jimmy, who nails Hunico with a clothesline, followed by knocking Camacho off the apron. Jimmy with another clothesline, followed by a savate kick to the ribs. Irish whip by Jimmy and he catches Hunico coming in with the Alley-Uso samoan drop. Jimmy with a “Uso” chant, followed by charging and connecting with the running butt smash for a close nearfall. Jimmy heads up top and knocks Camacho off the apron as Camacho was trying to come in. However, this allows Hunico to crotch Jimmy on the top turnbuckle. Hunico with a forearm, then goes up top with Jimmy. Hunico then hits his rana style victory roll powerbomb, but Jey breaks up the pin attempt. Camacho then comes in and drills Jey with a right hand.
Then, while the referee is with Camacho, The Usos hit an Alley-Oop into a superkick by Jimmy for the victory.
Winners: The Usos (Jey & Jimmy) by pinfall (Alley-Oop Superkick)

Back from commercial, we go to this week’s “RAW Rebound”, highlighting what happened in the main event between John Cena & Chris Jericho before our main event.
Slater comes out and cuts his usual “I’m a 1 Man Band” promo before we get the hellfire and brimstone of Kane for……..
Main Event: “The Big Red Machine” Kane vs. “The 1 Man Band” Heath Slater
Slater with a shoulder tackle, but Kane with an Irish whip, followed by a shoulder tackle. Slater with a wristlock, but Kane counters out into an arm whip. Kane goes back to the wristlock, then lifts up Slater and brings him back down, causing Slater to land awkwardly on his knee. Kane with a kick to Slater’s arm while placed in the ropes. Irish whip by Kane and he catches Slater coming in with a kitchen sink. Kane goes off the ropes and hits a front dropkick to Slater for a nearfall. Kane with a headbutt, followed by an Irish whip, but as Slater tries to go up & over, Kane catches him in a slam position, but Slater rolls off his back. Slater with a pair of kicks to the leg, followed by trying for an Irish whip, but Kane holds onto the ropes. Kane then sends Slater onto the apron, but Slater then hotshots Kane across the top rope.
Slater with a chopblock to the back of Kane’s leg, followed by a series of kicks. Kane shoves Slater away, but Slater hops up on the middle rope and nails Kane with a missile dropkick for a 1 count. Slater heads up top and leaps off, but Kane drills him coming down with a throat thrust.
Irish whip by Kane and he nails Slater with a clothesline. Slater charges, but Kane catches him coming in with a one-armed sidewalk slam. Kane heads up top and connects with a flying clothesline.
Kane calls for the Chokeslam and goozles Slater, connecting with the Chokeslam for the victory.
Winner: “The Big Red Machine” Kane by pinfall (Chokeslam)
