Viewership down for last Friday’s WWE SmackDown and AEW Rampage

Last Friday’s WWE SmackDown on USA Network, which was a taped episode came in with 1.326 million viewers, which is down from the previous week that saw 1.530 million viewers.

In the key 18-49 demographic, last Friday’s SmackDown drew a 0.37 rating, down ten points from the previous week, which saw a 0.47 rating.

Smackdown was No. 3 for the night on cable in the key 18-49 demographic. The Indiana vs. Notre Dame College Football Playoff game on ESPN averaged 5,582,000 viewers and a 1.65 rating in the key demographic. The pre-game studio show averaged 3.952 million viewers and a 1.65 rating in the key demographic. The game also aired on ABC and ESPN2 for a combined viewership of 13.387 million.

Over on TNT, last Friday’s AEW Ramage on TNT came in with 227,000 viewers. This is down from the previous week’s show that had 279,000 viewers.

In the key 18-49 demographic, Rampage scored a 0.06 rating, down from the 0.09 rating from the previous week.

Rampage came in a No. 15 for the night on cable in the key demographic.

At this past Sunday’s Dynamite and Rampage taping, Tony Khan confirmed that this Friday’s episode of Rampage will be the last for the foreseeable future.
