Jesse Ventura praises WWE’s ‘teamwork and creativity’ under Triple H

Jesse Ventura made a Substack post reflecting on his return to WWE at Saturday Night’s Main Event.

Thanking his son Tyrel for “putting the wheels in motion last summer” leading to his appearance on the NBC-Peacock special, the Hall of Famer went on to praise the company’s changes under the leadership of Paul “Triple H” Levesque:

A few thoughts on the new regime at the WWE. The biggest thing I noticed was how different the energy and vibe is backstage. You don’t feel a battle of ego’s like you often did back in my day. From the executive level to the locker room level you instead feel a very strong sense of teamwork and creativity. Everyone is running in the same direction. Fueled by a desire to see everyone succeed, not just themselves. I think this speaks volumes about the leadership of Paul ‘HHH’ Levesque.

Ventura added that he loved interacting with the new generation of wrestlers backstage, and that he believes Levesque, Nick Khan, and everyone on the WWE team are creating a “truly incredible and unique environment” that hasn’t existed anywhere else he’s been in wrestling.
