During a backstage segment on Friday’s 12/13 SmackDown, General Manager Nick Aldis told Bianca Belair, due to Jade Cargill still being, injured Belair would have to relinquish the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships. However, Naomi offered to take Cargill’s place. Belair then said that noted Naomi has always had her back. Aldis said that he would “run it up the flag pole.” He closed by saying that Belair and Naomi would have to be fighting champions and defend the Women’s Tag Team Championships on the 12/20 episode of SmackDown.
According to PWInsider, Naomi will substitute and replace Jade Cargill as Bianca Belair’s WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship partner going forward.
