The stay on the lawsuit against Vince McMahon, John Laurinaitis, and WWE has officially expired as of today, according to a report from PWInsider.
The motion kept the case filed by former WWE employee Janel Grant on pause due to an ongoing federal investigation into allegations of sexual assault and sex trafficking against the company and its former executives.
PWInsider adds that as of yesterday there was no ruling or motion before the Connecticut District Court requesting an extension, with no further movement as of 12:00 pm Eastern.
The update comes after the United States District Attorney overseeing the McMahon operation in South District New York announced his upcoming resignation.
