Tony Khan has announced on social media that Juice Robinson is out of this year’s AEW Continental Classic, after sustaining an injury during last week’s Collision taping.
Taking his place in the tournament is Komander, with Khan going on to announce that the luchador will face Ricochet this Friday on Rampage in tournament action.
Concerns were initially raised on Robinson’s status after he was seen with crutches at WrestleCade this past weekend with what was perceived as either a bad sprain or a broken foot, per F4WOnline.
Fightful Select noted that AEW knew by the weekend that his participation in the Continental Classic was unlikely, with the injury revealed to be a break in Robinson’s fibula.
Wrestleview wishes Juice Robinson all the best in his recovery.
