‘Red One’ film starring The Rock tops domestic box office

The action comedy Red One topped the domestic box office this past weekend, reaching $34.1 million in the United States from Thursday, November 15 to Sunday, November 17.

The figure, which also includes early access screenings held on November 10, has helped the action comedy starring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Chris Evans score around $84 million worldwide against a budget of $250 million, according to Variety.

The top five for the weekend’s domestic box office was rounded out by Venom: The Last Dance ($7.3 million), The Best Christmas Pageant Ever ($5.4 million), Heretic ($5.1 million), and The Wild Robot ($4.3 million).

The Amazon MGM film is set to be released on the Prime Video streaming service following its theatrical run.
