Shawn Michaels welcomes a top NOAH talent to WWE

WWE Hall of Famer and NXT Senior Vice President of Talent Development and Creative – Shawn Michaels, posted to X on Wednesday, welcoming Pro Wrestling NOAH’s Yoshiki Inamura to the WWE Performance Center in Orlando to train.

Inamura training at the Performance Center is part of the current business partnership between WWE and NOAH.

Michaels posted a video featuring Inamura and wrote the following in his X post, which is unable to be embedded.

I’m excited to welcomen@noah_ghc Wrestler@noah_yoshiki to #WWENXT. This hard-hitting young man is going to be a problem for anyone he steps in the ring with. I look forward to growing NXT’s partnership with@noahglobal in the future. #WWENXT.

The partnership between WWE and NOAHhas included AJ Styles going to a NOAH event for earlier this year for a match against Naomichi Marufuji, in which Styles came out victorious. Also this year, NXT Superstars Tavion Heights and Josh Briggs participated in NOAH’s N-1 tournament.

Last year, WWE sent Shinsuke Nakamura to a NOAH event to wrestle WWE Hall of Famer The Great Muta, as part of Muta’s retirement tour.
