Bryan Alvarez has reported that Nicholas Jackson recently sustained a separated shoulder, an injury he worked through despite it bothering him for weeks.
It is unclear when or how the injury was sustained, though Jackson had worked regular dates the past few months with no long stretches of inactivity.
Jackson and his brother Matthew dropped the AEW World Tag Team Championship to Private Party on this Wednesday’s edition of Dynamite.
In a separate report covered during the recent Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer noted that Bandido is “ready to return at any time” following a wrist surgery in December 2023.
The former ROH World Champion was reported to have been backstage last week at Dynamite in Salt Lake City, though details of whether he was in Cleveland this week were unavailable as of this writing.
