Former ECW and WWE star Francine announced on social media that she will be attending the November 6 episode of NXT, live on the CW from 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, PA.
Francine was part of ECW from 1994 until the company shut down in 2001. Francine had a very short run in TNA Wrestling in 2002 and then signed a contract with WWE in 2005. She asked to be released from WWE contract in late 2016, pointing out specifically she was only being booked for bikini contests. WWE granted her release on October 12, 2006.
It was announced during NXT Halloween Havoc on Sunday that ECW Original Dawn Marie will be the special guest special referee for the Hardcore Match between Jaida Parker and Lola Vice. This will Marie’s first appearance in WWE since 2005.
The reason NXT will air on Wednesday night that week is because WWE does not want to go up against election night coverage with NXT. Instead, NXT will go head-to-head with AEW Dynamite.
