An event for independent wrestling promotion Glory Pro saw a surprise appearance by Ricky Starks, who made his entrance before taking a wrestler down with a spear.
Starks, who has not been seen on AEW television since March, cut a promo saying he is not one to pass up an opportunity of a lifetime before turning his attention to Kody Lane.
Noting some unfinished business between the two, Starks accepted Lane’s challenge for a match at the 11/24 event for Glory Pro, a match confirmed by the promotion itself.
The former FTW Champion has stated in past interviews that he has ‘no clue’ why he hasn’t been used as frequently in AEW, rejecting the idea that he turned down creative pitches.
