Coming out Friday night’s WWE SmackDown, are two new title matches that have been added to Crown Jewel.
During a backstage segment with SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis, Raw General Manager Adam Pierce, NXT General Manager Ava and Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill, IYO SKY and Kairi Sane, Chelsea Green and Piper Niven and NXT’s Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson. At the end of the segment, all the GM’s announced there will be a Fatal 4-Way Women’s Tag Team Title Match at Crown Jewel.
LA Knight will defend the United States Championship in a Triple Threat Match at Crown Jewel.
The match between Andrade and Hayes in the best of seven series ended in a no-contest, after special referee LA Knight attacked both men. The attack by Knight was a result from Andrade and Hayes accidently hitting Knight during the match.
Backstage SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis confronted Knight as a result of his actions and told him he will defend the US Championship in a Triple Threat Match against Andrade and Hayes at Crown Jewel.
Also added to Crown Jewel is Randy Orton vs. Kevin Owens.
The other three matches previously announced for Crown Jewel are as follows:
-Cody Rhodes vs. Gunther for the WWE Men’s Crown Jewel Championship
-Nia Jax vs. Liv Morgan for the WWE Women’s Crown Jewel Championship
-Bronson Reed vs. Seth Rollins
WWE Crown Jewel will take place on Saturday, November 2 from the Mohammed Abdo Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The event will stream live on Peacock in the United States and WWE Network, everywhere else beginning at 1:00 pm ET.
