During a backstage segment on Monday’s (10/21) WWE Raw, Carlito reportedly went off script, according to a report from Fightful Select.
The segment saw Carlito arrive to speak with Raw General Manager Adam Pearce. Carlito told Pearce that he needed to learn Chinese as Damage CTRL’s IYO SKY and Kairi Sane had left. SKY and Sane are actually Japanese.
The line has now been edited out all digital clips from that segment on the episode.
Fightful Select concluded by noting that one internal source within WWE told the publication they were “in disbelief” the off-scripted line was said, while many others in the company are said not be about the line being said.
