AEW taped an episode of Ring of Honor Thursday night at the Adventist Health Arena in Stockton, California.

Tony Khan honored former ROH COO Joe Koff before the taping. Koff passed away this week at the age of 73.
AEW President Tony Khan came out as the company was setting up the banners for the show. Khan said he wanted to mention the passing of Joe Koff earlier in the week. Khan described Koff as someone who kept Ring of Honor alive. Khan also said Koff was always very good to him and his loss this week was a big loss to professional wrestling. Khan gave credit to Koff about him coming to him (Khan) about purchasing Ring of Honor.
Khan went on to say that Koff was looking to keep the company alive and was looking for someone who would keep it in business and keep those who worked there still have jobs. Khan said it was his honor to be able to purchase the company and keep it alive. He said ROH runs strong today and it’s thanks to Joe.
Khan then led the crowd in Stockton in a “Joe” chant.
After the taping ended, Khan came out and signed autographs with the fans.

They closed with an angle that was a celebration for Athena being the longest reigning ROH Women’s Champion. Her minions were all in the ring dancing, but she made them leave and complained about the party. She then said it was all Billie Starkz’s fault. Billie said she was done and walked out. Abadon’s music played and Lexy Nair who was chained to Athena hid under the ring, but Abadon emerged from under the ring now chained to Athena and laid her out. She then smashed a cake into her and left.
