AEW Collision and Battle of the Belts VII SPOILERS: Matches and segments taped on 10/17 to air 10/19

On Thursday night at the Adventist Health Arena in Stockton, California, AEW taped this Saturday’s Collision and Battle of the Belts which will air on TNT.

Before the taping, Tony Khan came out to welcome everyone and used the Time Cop joke about how we will be in two places at once. Tony Schiavone and Nigel McGuinness are the announcers.

Collision –

-Rush and Beast Mortos defeated The Outrunners.  FTR made the save for The Outrunners after a post-match beating.

-House of Black won a trios team match

-Ricochet pinned AR Fox. After the match, Ricochet cut a promo saying he has yet to be pinned or submitted in an AEW ring.  He said he is waiting to kick Konosuke Takeshita’s ass and win the International Championship. Ricochet seemed to get caught up with a few fans catcalling stuff, but the crowd was behind him and booed the hell out of Takeshita being mentioned.

-Kris Statlander defeated Harley Cameron.  After the match, Statlander cut a promo calling out Kamille saying she will give Mercedes Mone’ a front row seat. 

-Daniel Garcia and Private Party defeated The Premiere Athletes

-Orange Cassidy defeated Bulk Bronson

-Jamie Hayter defeated Brooke Havoc.  After the match, Penelope Ford appeared on the screen and said she targeted Hayter because she was out two-years and her last match was with Hayter.  She promised to take everything away from Hayter.

-Kyle Fletcher pinned Atlantis Jr

AEW Trios Champions Wheeler Yuta, Claudio Castagnoli and Pac defeated Top Flight and Action Andretti.  After the match, Jon Moxley and Marina Shafir came out and destroyed everyone.  Dark Order tried to make the save but were beaten down.  There was a big brawl to close the show.

The show opened with AEW Continental Champion Kazuchika Okada vs. Kyle O’Reilly  Okada scored the win after a hard-fought match that went nearly 20 minutes. 

-ROH World TV Champion Brian Cage and Lance Archer defeated Jack Cartwheel and Jon Cruz.

-AEW Women’s World Championship Eliminator Match: Anna Jay pinned Champion Mariah May to earn a future title match
