Kevin Owens gives WWE until Friday to air video explaining attack on Cody Rhodes

Kevin Owens posted a video on Tuesday, giving an ultimatum to WWE. He said in the video that he would love to explain why he attacked Cody Rhodes in the parking lot of the State Farm Arena in Atlanta after Bad Blood, but that WWE won’t allow him to do it, also saying that he was told he could not come to last Friday’s SmackDown.

Owens also said that he sent a video this past weekend to WWE with the hope it would have aired on Raw, but it did not happen. He then went on to say that the last thing he wants in to have to post it all over social media, but if WWE doesn’t air it, he will will post it himself. He gave WWE until this coming Friday.

As the Women’s World Tag Team Championship Match was set to begin on last Friday’s SmackDown, Owens hit the ring, attempting to explain his actions, but WWE cut his mic in the process. Cody Rhodes then came down to confront Owens, but security stopped him. Randy Orton then entered the ring to try to hold off Owens, but he hit Orton, who in turn nailed Owens in the mouth, dropping him to the mat. Owens looked shocked by what Orton had done.

Later in the show, during a backstage segment, it was shown Owens attacking Orton in the back parking lot of the Bon Secours Wellness Arena, in Greenville, South Carolina.
