With tickets going on sale today, NJPW confirmed a list of wrestlers for the upcoming Strong Style Evolved event set to take place 12/15 at the Walter Pyramid in Long Beach, California, including Mercedes Moné.
Moné, the current NJPW Strong Women’s Champion, won the belt at Forbidden Door defeating Stephanie Vaquer in a Title For Title match to also retain her TBS Championship.
She previously competed in the tournament to crown the first-ever women’s champion for the NJPW Strong brand at Resurgence 2023, held at the same building as the upcoming Strong Style Evolved, losing to Willow Nightingale in the finals after sustaining an injury.
A match to determine who will challenge Moné for the title is set for 11/8 at the Fighting Spirit Unleashed event in Lowell, Massachusetts, with fellow AEW talent Anna Jay already confirmed to be a part of a four-way bout.
