According to recent WWE company estimates, the 4/29 Extreme Rules PPV featuring Brock Lesnar vs. John Cena drew 251,000 buys worldwide with 147,000 buys coming domestically. This early estimate is already up 17% from the event last year that drew 216,000 buys worldwide.
As also reported earlier, company estimates from WWE has Wrestlemania 28 on 5/1 doing 1.25 million buys (down from the 1.3 estimate).
Final figures will be released by WWE during the company’s second quarter financial earnings report.
