According to Fightful Select, AEW is “hopeful and even expecting” Adam Cole to back “sooner than later.”
The report also notes that creative plans are being made for his eventual return to AEW programming as an on-screen character.
Cole has been out of in-ring action, since suffering a serious ankle injury during the September 2023 AEW Dynamite Grand Slam episode, which required two surgeries.
