Report on possible location for debut episode of WWE Raw on Netflix

Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, addressed a report earlier this week from Wrestlevotes Radio, who reported that Inglewood, CA appears to be the host city for WWE Raw’s debut on Netflix.

It is being said that the the new Intuit Dome, which the venue for the NBA’s Los Angeles Clipper’s could be the venue for the January 6, 2025 episode of Raw. Meltzer notes in his report that there has been “pretty strong talk” of the show being held in Los Angeles:

While not confirmed, there was a lot of talk this week coming off Raw that the first Raw on Netflix on 1/6 would be in Southern California. There were Netflix employees in the first few rows at Raw this week. Netflix is based in both Los Angeles and Los Gatos, CA, which would be the San Jose market. As part of that talk was the idea of doing NXT in the same building the next night. Again, this is just talk although the Raw episode in Los Angeles is pretty strong talk.

Raw will air on USA Network through the rest of 2024, until the agreement with Netflix begins in January 2025. From October 7 through December 30, Raw will move back to a two-hour format on the USA Network. There has been several conflicting reports that Raw will either stay two-hour or move back to three-hours when it hits Netflix. In addition, there also has been talk that with Netflix there will be more flexibility for the length of the show without any constraints of cable television.
