According to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, U.S. District Court Judge Joseph Anderson Jr. tossed out a case with Anthony Dash suing WWE, Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Mayweather Promotions claiming the beat of his entrance music infringed on a copyright he holds for a song. The Judge tossed out the case on 5/11 saying the plaintiff could provide no evidence that the playing of Mayweather’s entrance music increased the revenue of either Wrestlemania or a 2009 episode of Raw where Mayweather made an appearance.
