According to a report from PWInsider, WWE’s longtime Lead Production Designer Jason Robinson is leaving the company.
The report notes that Robinson is either finishing up this week or was done as of this past weekend’s Bash in Berlin premium live event.
It is also said that Robinson was highly thought of and was considered incredibly talented by those he worked with. He began with a background in theater and opera in terms of creating and designing sets before moving into television. Furthermore, it was noted that Robinson was “very much considered a Kevin Dunn guy” during his 23 plus year tenure with WWE.
PWInsider concluded their report by saying that a lot of people were shocked that Robinson was leaving the company, exiting, noting he was as important as one could imagine when it came to designing the look and feel of WWE’s broadcast product. He played a major roll in the production of WrestleMania and ThunderDome and much more.
We reported on Monday that Michele Carlucci, who worked for WWE as Director of Production Travel, was let go by the company last Friday.
