WWE confirmed to Sports Business Journal on Wednesday that Wade Barrett will be paired with Joe Tessitore as part the announce team for Raw beginning on Monday, September 2.
Barrett will only be doing color commentary while Pat McAfee is fulfilling his ESPN College GameDay obligations. McAfee will return when Raw moves to Netflix on January 5, 2025.
This past July, WWE announced Tessitore as the new Raw play-by-play announcer for Raw. His main broadcasting background is calling football and boxing for ESPN.
Michael Cole and Corey Graves will be the announce team for Friday Night SmackDown when the show returns to the USA Network on September 13.
