According to Fightful Select, WWE has denied reports they are moving the Performance Center, despite several reports on Tuesday.
There were several reports claiming that the WWE Performance Center would be moved from Orlando, Florida to Las Vegas, Nevada. Sources that Fightful Select spoke to within WWE on Tuesday claim the reports are false.
The original report stated Mark Shapiro had announced during a meeting the Performance Center was moving. One WWE source reached out quickly to Fightful Select, saying that the meeting did not happen, unless there was another meeting that was held. Additional sources within WWE told Fightful Select that Mark Shapiro did not make an announcement indicating the WWE Performance would be relocating.
The report concludes by noting that no sources at the WWE Performance Center had heard of any plans of relocation and were said to be have been shocked when they saw word that it could happen. Furthermore, many sources noted the proximity of Orlando to talent on the main roster, and their ability to easily access it. The cost of living for the trainee talent was also noted as being far more beneficial in Orlando.
Wrestleview did not originally report that the Performance Center would be relocating.
