To follow up on a report from late Friday night regarding WWE moving NXT tapings to Full Sail University in Winter Park, FL (near Orlando), an official Facebook page is listing the show as “WWE Superstar Showdown” and will feature talent from both NXT and developmental. WWE had already held a test taping last December in this venue and signed an exclusive deal with the University (which is an entertainment media focused University with “state of the art production facilities” according to PWInsider.com). The initial idea is to upgrade the look of the NXT show by using this venue and also showcase developmental talent in the process. Triple H, Sheamus, Alberto Del Rio, R-Truth, Kofi Kingston, Epico and Primo have been announced for the first taping on 5/17. Other tapings schedule include 6/14, 7/5, 7/19, 8/9, 8/23, 9/6 and 9/20.
