Pat McAfee announced earlier on Monday that the 8/19 episode of WWE Raw would be his last for a while, as he is returning to ESPN’s College GameDay.
It was then announced by Michael Cole during Monday’s Raw that McAfee will return to the show, when it moves to Netflix on January 5, 2025.
Joe Tessitore will debut as the play-by-play announcer on Raw, beginning September 2. Michael Cole moves back SmackDown, starting September 6, a week before the show moves back to the USA Network on September 13.
