A feature from The Ringer highlighting the career of Michael Cole has revealed that the broadcaster has signed a new contract with WWE this past spring.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed, but the article notes that it will keep Cole as “the voice of WWE for the foreseeable future.”
Joining the company in 1997, Michael Cole has been involved in a number of roles from backstage interviewer to commentator and occasional wrestler.
He has been a major part of the announce booth since 1998, currently calling play-by-play for RAW alongside Pat McAfee on color commentary.
