Bryan Danielson reveals end date for AEW contract

In an interview with Renee Paquette posted on AEW’s YouTube channel, Bryan Danielson revealed that his deal with the company expires before his match for the World Championship at All In.

August 1, actually. Next Thursday, my wrestling contract is up. Which also happens to be my son’s fourth birthday.

The winner of the 2024 Owen Hart Foundation Tournament went on to address what the end of his deal means for him, especially in light of preparing to compete at Wembley Stadium on August 25:

You know, when I signed this contract — me and Brie [Garcia], we talked about how this would be the last wrestling contract I was going to sign. Part of me is wondering what life is like after this, you know? Part of me is excited about that. But even though Wembley is after this, I still have to focus on that. That’s got to be kind of my focus. So, yeah, it’s a wild time. It’s a wild time.

Danielson previously announced that this year would mark his last as a full-time wrestler, though his final match under the current deal is unknown as of this writing.
