Damon Kemp announced on social media that he was no longer under contract with WWE.
A report from Fightful Select notes that the move was not a part of a “round of cuts” but a simple matter of the NXT talent being informed his contract would not be renewed.
Kemp (Bobby Steveson) had made quite the impression on officials, coaches, and fans during his stint with the company, with matches on NXT, Level Up, 205 Live, and WWE Main Event.
Kemp’s last match was on the 6/25 edition of WWE NXT, ending a run that began in 2021.
His older brother Gable was released in May after a run with the company that briefly saw him on RAW, SmackDown, and NXT.
