Tiffany Stratton says racist Instagram post directed at Jade Cargill was an ‘honest mistake’

While speaking with Adrian Hernandez ahead of Saturday’s WWE Money in the Bank, Tiffany Stratton Tiffany Stratton was asking about a now deleted Instagram post that caused much adversity from fans.

The post, from back in May included video of Stratton hit Jade Cargill with a forearm strike during a match and then knocking her off of the apron. Someone embedded audio within the video with a women’s voice, yelling “Black B—-.” Stratton reposted the video to her Instagram, which included crying and laughing emojis.

Stratton told Hernandez that she did not listen to the audio before she reposted it.

“Yup, it was an honest mistake…it was an honest mistake. I didn’t hear the audio. I had it up for maybe 20 seconds and I deleted it instantly as soon as I heard the audio. It was an honest mistake.”

X user @archives has posted the video with the audio clip, which is below.

Stratton is set to compete in the Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match at Saturday’s Money in the Bank, which will air beginning at 7:00 pm ET on Peacock in the United States and WWE Network everywhere else.
