During the Clash At The Castle Kickoff event, Drew McIntyre gave an impassioned speech vowing to win the World Heavyweight Championship from Damian Priest this Saturday.
During the speech, McIntyre informed fans that his wife Kaitlyn is undergoing emergency surgery, and is unable to attend Clash At The Castle.
I wasn’t going to talk about it, but I can’t stop thinking about it. The one person who’s not going to be there is my wife because she’s in surgery right now, emergency surgery. And she told me, ‘I want you to go there and bring that title home.’ And I’m going to bring that title home.
Clash At The Castle takes place Saturday, June 15 from the OVO Hydro in Glasgow, Scotland.
