Adam Copeland confirms successful surgery

In a post on Instagram, Adam Copeland confirmed that he underwent surgery on his fractured tibia, showing off what he could do “twelve hours out” by performing a single-leg plank.

Copeland sustained the injury during his match against Malakai Black at AEW Double Or Nothing, following a spot in which the TNT Champion launched himself from the top of a barbed wire steel cage onto the challenger, who was wrapped in barbed wire onto a table.

The champion fractured the tibia from landing on his feet, which forced Copeland to vacate the title in order to focus on the surgery.

Wrestleview wishes Copeland all the best for a full recovery.
