WWE has announced that an appearance by Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan has been added to this Monday’s (6/3) episode of Raw.
Morgan’s appearance will be a follow-up after she kissed Dominik Mysterio and the end of last Monday’s Raw.
Morgan defeated Becky Lynch at King and Queen of the Ring PLE to win the Women’s World Championship. Morgan then retained the title on last week’s episode of Raw in a steel cage match. Both of those matches saw Mysterio getting involved, causing inadvertent outside inference, which allowed Morgan to come out victorious.
During last Monday’s Raw, Mysterio said he wanted to make things right for now former Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley, ensuring that Morgan would lose the belt. Lynch challenged Morgan in a championship rematch inside a steel cage on the May 27 Raw.
Lynch was on her way out of the cage to regain the championship when Finn Balor and JD McDonagh came out to confront Dominik Mysterio who had the cage door open. Braun Strowman then came running down to the ring to chase down McDonagh and Balor. It was during the chase, Strowman pushed aside Mysterio, which caused the cage door to hit Lynch in the head, allowing Morgan to escape the cage to retain. After the match, Morgan kissed Mysterio, leaving him very confused as the show wet off the air.
Lynch became a free agent on June 1.
