The lawsuit against Vince McMahon, WWE, and John Laurinaitis has been paused by Janel Grant, according to her attorney Ann Callis.
In an interview with Bloomberg, Callis stated that Grant agreed to a request from the US Attorney’s office to put a pause on the litigation, pending a non-public investigation into the matter.
A source close to the situation noted that the stay is expected to last six months.
The news comes after the Wall Street Journal and ABC News reported in February on the Justice Department’s investigation into allegations of sexual misconduct against the former chairman of WWE.
