Young Bucks’ new shoes; Eddie Kingston confirms injury; Energy Drink gets poured on Tony Schiavone

During a segment on Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite, the Young Bucks announced Eddie Kingston has been “bit by the injury bug.”

During his no ropes last man standing match against Gabe Kidd at last Saturday’s NJPW Resurgence, Kingston injured his right leg on the guard rail after he took a brainbuster off the apron and then landed through a table on the outside.

PWInsider notes the word going around is that Kingston could be out for several months.

Kingston was scheduled team with Bryan Danielson and FTR against The Elite in an Anarchy in the Arena Match at Double or Nothing. However, during the end of Dynamite, Darby Allin made his surprise return on to AEW and was revealed as Kingston’s replacement.

After Dynamite went off the air, Allin spoke to the crowd, saying that he is not 100 percent. Allin has been out of action since injuring his foot at the March 13 Big Business episode of Dynamite and then getting hit by a bus in New York last month, resulting in a broken nose.

Kingston posted a picture on his Instagram of himself in a wheelchair with his right leg in a brace.
