In regards to WWE CFO George Barrios recently stating that the main difference between WWE and UFC is that UFC was a PPV product and WWE is a television product, The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that while WWE has the ratings advantage, UFC actually takes more money in from television. WWE’s domestic deal grossed $80.5 million in 2011. While this was more than UFC, in 2012 UFC is expected to take in around $100 million with the new FOX deal along with an undisclosed amount from Showtime through Strikeforce.
