Jey Uso responded to a question on social media regarding the crowd recently lighting up their cell phones for his entrance in recent weeks, including WWE Backlash in Lyon, France.
The lights, known as “fireflies” by the late Bray Wyatt, have added an extra element to the atmosphere, and the former Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champion was asked if he was a fan of this addition, to which he replied:
The response is notable, in part due to recent QR codes popping up on WWE programming, similar to those surrounding Bray’s return to WWE in 2022.
The codes, linking to web pages with videos and imagery previously associated with Wyatt, have been reportedly linked to a faction to be led by Uncle Howdy (Bo Dallas).
As for Jey Uso, the self-proclaimed “Yeeter of Worlds” seeks to advance and win the 2024 King of the Ring tournament, which culminates in the finals at the King & Queen of the Ring premium live event, emanating from Saudi Arabia on Saturday, May 25.
