A couple major changes have taken place behind the scenes in WWE, according to new reports.
PWInsider has confirmed that the company’s chief operating officer Brad Blum has resigned.
Blum joined WWE in 2006, taking on greater responsibilities in 2020 before initially departing the company in light of Vince McMahon’s “retirement” following allegations against the former chairman.
The executive was also one of the Corporate Officers listed but not initially identified in the lawsuit filed against the company by Janel Grant.
A separate report from PWInsider has confirmed that Michael Cole has pulled back from responsibilities related to managing announcers behind the scenes, focusing on his on-camera role in a decision the company had no issue with.
Sue Cundaro, who has worked with Cole in the role in the past, is said to be taking over and overseeing the announcing team going forward.
