Fightful Select has provided some backstage news and notes from Saturday’s NXT Stand & Deliver premium live event.
-There was a big focus going into the event, with emphasis on everyone hitting their cues with the allotted time given.
-There was fear that Bron Breakker may have suffered a concussion during the tag team title match. When Breakker went to the backstage area, he was cleared and was said to be fine.
-Paul Levesque was backstage. However, he had no creative influence or input for the event. All the creative decisions were left to Shawn Michaels and his team.
-The NXT North American Championship Triple-Threat Championship Match had big reactions from executives and talent backstage.
-Ridge Holland is expected to return on Tuesday’s NXT to explain his attack on Joey Gacy during the countdown show.
-The Meta-Four received a lot of internal praise as the official hosts for the event
-Plans for the NXT Women’s North American Championship introduced during the event has reportedly been in place since as of late last year
