WWE SmackDown kicks off with highlights of last week’s show involving The Rock, Roman Reigns, Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins.
Live in the arena, the lights go pitch black and The Rock’s music hits. Lightning on the LED board and out comes The Rock to a loud ovation from the crowd and a modified new entrance theme.
He gets in the ring and the fans chant “Rocky”. He says usually every week, he scorches the city he is in but tonight is different. This city is different. Years ago when he first started, he started here in Memphis. He says “Finally, the Rock has come back… home”.
He says they are going to have fun, this is the home of the blues, Elvis and he says is going to sing a song.
“The Rock is gonna come lay the SmackDown on your blond Cody ass and your best friend’s the clown. I’m going to whoop that ass and break that back or maybe I’ll just beat you with my fanny pack.
“Its gonna be so much drama, youll truly have no choice but to cry to ur momma. Cody’s momma. Rock is a mommas boy.”
Here is a story about how Cody was born.
The Rock continues to sing , making fun of Cody Rhodes and how he was a mistake. He makes fun of Seth Rollins and how Becky Lynch is more popular than him and how Seth is an embarrassment. He makes fun of the Cody cry babies and he calls himself the final boss.
He says last week, Cody did something to The Rock. The world heard it and The Rock felt it. We see a clip of Cody Rhodes slapping The Rock last week. He says Cody grew a pair of balls and slapped him.
The Rock says a few days later, Cody went on Raw and he was asking how Cody was going to react to the biggest moment of his life, slapping him. The Rock says Cody responded by crying, “you’ve got to be shitting me”. The Rock makes fun of Cody and he tells Cody that he won’t get a title to give to anyone. He says The Rock wants to talk to Cody’s mother.
He tells her The Rock knows she is watching and listening. She doesn’t know him but she will. He tells her that her son Cody took something from him and he will make Cody, his family and her pay. On WrestleMania night 1, they are going to beat Cody and Seth. That brings them to night two, Bloodline rules and anything goes.
The Rock says she wants Cody to finish the story but that won’t happen. That belt will stay with Roman Reigns. And Cody’s mom is going to get a belt but it’s The Rock’s belt. The fans chant “whoop that trick” and he pulls out a weight belt. He says he is going to take the belt and beat Cody with it. He is going to whoop him like a dog. And Cody’s blood is going to be on that belt and after that, he is going to give that belt to her.
He is going to whisper in her ear and tell her “Michelle, what can I say except you’re welcome”. The fans chant “Rocky” and he says “If you smell what the final boss is cooking.”

Angel and Humberto vs. Joaquin Wilde and Cruz Del Toro
The bell rings and we are under way. Angel with chops onto Del Toro. Humberto is tagged in but Del Toro with a kick followed by a hurricanrana. Wilde is tagged in and they double team Humberto who falls to the outside. Angel gets in the ring and they dropkick him to the outside. Wilde and Del Toro with suicide dives to the outside of the ring. Wilde gets Humberto in the ring. He goes for the cover but Humberto kicks out. Del Toro is tagged in and they double team Humberto Del Toro goes for the cover but Humberto kicks out.
-Commercial Break-
Back from commercial, Humberto and Del Toro in the ring. Humberto with right hands onto Del Toro and Angel is tagged in. He dropkicks Wilde to the outside and they double team Del Toro. A double gorilla press off the second rope. Humberto goes for the cove but Wilde breaks it up. Del Toro with a standing Spanish fly onto Humberto. Angel and Wilde are tagged in and Wilde with a double drop kick onto Humberto and Angel. Wilde with a tornado DDT. He goes for the cover but Humberto breaks it up. Del Torro drop kicks Humberto to the outside. Del Torro to the outside but Humberto throws him into the barricade. Legado Del Fantasma get in the ring, Humberto throws Wilde in the air and Angel hits him with a kick. He goes for the cover and gets the pin.
Winners: Legado Del Fantasma
-Commercial Break-
Kayla is at the entrance ramp and out comes LA Knight to a loud pop from the crowd. The fans chant “LA Knight”. He calls AJ Styles out but AJ doesn’t show. He calls AJ Styles, Napoleon Styles. He says AJ flies to Australia but he can’t drive to Memphis.
He tells AJ if he doesn’t want to show up at SmackDown, he can show up at WrestleMania. He challenges AJ Styles to a match at WrestleMania. Out comes AJ Styles from behind and he hits LA Knight with a chair and he accepts his challenge at WrestleMania.
We see a clip of Logan Paul last week on SmackDown and Randy Orton showing up and hitting KSI with an RKO.
We cut backstage and Nick Aldis is sitting down, in comes Logan Paul. He asks Aldis what the plan is for Orton, is it a fine? Logan tells Aldis that Orton should apologize. Aldis tells Logan he should request an apology from Randy Orton in person.
Logan tells Aldis that is his job but he doesn’t expect Aldis to do his job when he can’t even do his job and find him an opponent for WrestleMania.
-Commercial Break-
We cut backstage and see Paul Heyman, Solo Sikoa and Jimmy Uso. Kayla stops them and Heyman screams in fear. She asks if they have a response for Jey Uso’s WrestleMania challenge. Jimmy begins to yell and tells Jey that he is his little brother, he raised him. He accepts his challenge.
Randy Orton vs. Grayson Waller with Austin Theory
The fans chant “Randy” and Grayson tells him this is his house. Logan Paul’s music hits and out he comes to the ring. Waller attacks Orton from behind and the referee rings the bell. Waller with right hands but Orton with right hands. He gets Waller in the corner, climbs the second rope and hits him with right hands but Waller trips him up on the top turnbuckle. He throws Orton to the outside. Waller grabs Orton but Orton slams him face first into the announce table. Orton throws him into the time keeper’s area. Logan Paul stands up and distracts Orton, Waller slams Orton face first onto the announce table.
-Commercial Break-
Back from commercial, Orton with a clothesline onto Waller. Waller to the ropes and Orton with a snap powerslam. Waller rolls onto the ring apron and Orton goes for the DDT but Waller throws him to the outside. Waller slides to the outside, goes for a clothesline but Orton ducks and he slams Waller onto the announce table. Orton throws him back into the ring. Theory gets on the ring apron and distracts Orton. Waller runs towards Orton but he moves out of the way and Waller knocks Theory down. Orton gets Waller on the ring apron and hits him with a draping DDT. Orton goes for the RKO but Theory rolls Waller to the outside. Orton grabs Theory and pulls him onto the ring apron and hits him with a DDT. Waller rolls into the ring and Orton hits him with an RKO. Orton points at Logan Paul, he goes for the cover and gets the pin.
Winner: Randy Orton
Austin Theory attacks Orton from behind after the match. He points to Logan Paul and Paul gets in the ring. Theory holds Orton and Logan Paul kisses Orton on the forehead. Out comes Kevin Owens to the ring. He hits Theory with right hands and Theory falls to the outside and Logan leaves the ring. Owens helps Orton up and Orton goes for the RKO but Owens stops him. Orton doesn’t know it’s Owens. Theory gets in the ring, Owens hits him with a Stunner and Orton with an RKO. Orton and Owens shake hands.
Out comes Nick Aldis. He asks Logan if he was able to get that apology from Orton. And he says he has determined his opponent for WrestleMania. He apologizes and says he has determined his opponents at WrestleMania. Aldis announces that Logan Paul will defend his United States Championship match against Kevin Owens and Randy Orton in a triple threat match at WrestleMania.
Kayla Braxton is backstage with Damage CTRL. Dakota tells her that she is going to break Bayley and anyone who feels sorry for her have lost their mind. She says for them to grow stronger, they had to cut her loose. She says they run the show.

Santos Escobar vs. Dragon Lee
The bell rings and we are under way. Dragon Lee with a clothesline and Escobar to the outside. Dragon Lee with a running senton over the top rope onto Escobar on the outside. Escobar gets in the ring and Dragon Lee with a super kick. He hits Escobar with a sit down powerbomb. He goes for the cover but Escobar kicks out. Humberto gets on the ring apron but Dragon Lee with a hurricanrana to the outside. Dragon Lee gets in the ring and Escobar hits him with the Phantom Driver. He goes for the cover and gets the pin.
Winner: Santos Escobar
Legado Del Fantasma attack Dragon Lee after the match. Carlito’s music hits and he hits Angel with a back stabber and a spine buster onto Humberto. Santos with right hands onto Carlito. Rey Mysterio’s music hits and out he comes to the ring. Rey gets in the ring and he hits Escobar with right hands. He throws Santos on the second rope and goes for the 619 but Santos rolls to the outside.
Rey grabs a microphone and asks Santos why he is running. He challenges Santos Escobar to a match next week and tells him that he will slap that arrogant smile off his face.

Pretty Deadly against New Catch Republic
The bell rings and we are under way. Dunne and Kit Wilson are in the ring and Dunne twists Wilson’s hand. He stomps on his arm. Dunne gets on the ring apron and he twists Wilson’s fingers. Prince trips Dunne up on the ring apron. Prince is tagged in and they double team Dunne. Prince with right hands and Wilson is tagged in. He grabs Dunne but Dunne with a single leg take down. Bate is tagged in and he knocks Pretty Deadly down. Bate with a spinning head scissor take down on Wilson. He spins Prince around and slams him.
-Commercial Break-
Back from commercial, Bate with a suplex on Wilson. Dunne and Prince are tagged in and Dunne with a kick to the side of the head. He slides to the outside and slams Wilson onto the ring apron. He gets back into the ring and hits Prince with a snap German suplex. Dunne with an arm bar but Prince rolls him up but Dunne kicks out. Dunne with a kick to the side of the head. Bate is tagged into the match. They double team Prince. Bate goes for the cover but Wilson breaks it up. All four men fight in the ring and Prince with a big boot onto Dunne. Wilson is tagged in and Pretty Deadly throw them shoulder first into the ring post. Wilson goes for the cover on Bate but Bate kicks out. Bate with a kick onto Prince and he throws Wilson to the outside. Dunne is tagged in and they hit Prince with the Burminghammer. Dunne goes for the cover and gets the pin.
Winners: New Catch Republic

Bayley vs. Dakota Kai with Damage CTRL
The bell rings and we are under way. Bayley with right hands and Dakota rolls to the outside. Bayley to the outside and she throws Dakota back into the ring. Dakota with a big slap onto Bayley and the fans chant “Whoop that trick”. Bayley throws Dakota in the corner and hits her with right hands and kicks. Bayley gets Dakota on the ring apron and slams her. Bayley to the outside and she hits Dakota with a suplex.
-Commercial Break-
Back from commercial, Asuka distracts Bayley and Dakota hits her with a double stomp. She goes for the cover but Bayley kicks out. Dakota distracts the referee and Asuka hits Bayley with a right hand. Dakota goes for the cover but Bayley kicks out. Dakota grabs Bayley but Bayley slams her onto the mat. Bayley climbs the top rope but Dakota with a kick. Dakota climbs the second rope but Bayley with a right hand and Dakota falls to the mat. Bayley with an elbow drop. She goes for the cover but Dakota kicks out. Bayley goes for the Bayley to Belly but Dakota lands on her feet and kicks Bayley in the head. Dakota distracts the referee and Sane with right hands onto Bayley. Dakota with a kick onto Bayley. Dakota runs towards Bayley but Bayley catches her and hits her with a powerbomb. Dakota rolls to the outside. Damage CTRL get in the ring and Bayley knocks both Asuka and Sane down. Dakota grabs Bayley and IYO hits Bayley and the referee calls for the bell.
Winner: By disqualification, Bayley
Naomi’s music hits and out she runs to the ring. Naomi with a kick onto Dakota and she slams Kairi onto the mat. She hits Asuka with a kick but IYO with a dropkick onto Naomi and she throws Naomi to the outside. IYO with a moon sault onto Bayley and Damage CTRL celebrate in the ring with SmackDown going off the air.
