Fightful Select has reported on rumors making the rounds regarding Ricky Starks being a free agent and no longer under contract with AEW.
Fightful Select said they spoke with sources within AEW this past week. A source within the company said that it’s news to the company that Starks is no longer under a contract. It was also said the same source said Starks is still very much under contract and will be with AEW for the foreseeable future.
AEW files for new trademark
Back on February 26, 2024, AEW filed trademarks with the United States Patent and Trademark Office for the terms ‘AEW: Meat Madness’ and ‘AEW: Match Madness.’
A Meat Madness match was scheduled for AEW Revolution, but was postponed due to several injuries for talent who were slated to participate in the match.
