Diamond Dallas Page took to social media to announce that his friend and fellow former WCW star Ice Train passed away.
Harold Hogue’s run in WCW began in 1993 as Ice Train, perhaps most notable for teaming with Scott Norton as Fire and Ice in 1996 until a split resulted from Norton’s heel turn.
Hogue would go on to have a singles run until 1997 when he departed WCW, only to return in 2000 as M.I. Smooth until the company’s closure days after his match against Kanyon on the March 19, 2001 edition of Monday Nitro.
Following a lengthy hiatus from the business, Hogue would have one final match in 2019, competing against Dave Taylor in Germany for EWP.
Wrestleview offers its condolences to the family, friends, and fans of Harold Hogue.
